Highly Commended for our ‘Dedication to Access for All’

We were really pleased to be ‘Highly Commended’ at the National Transport Awards last week for our ‘Dedication to Access for All’.

In the past year we have worked with a number of charities and local bodies to ensure that all of our services can be accessed by every one of our customers.

At the end of last year we worked on our ‘Access for All scheme’, increasing the amount of bus services that have space for both wheelchairs and buggies. A few months back we were lucky enough to be visited by the Royal National Institute of Blind People’s (RNIB) for their Stop For Me, Speak To Me bus drivers event.

A huge thank you to all of our staff, and the organisations that have worked with us this year, to ensure there is truly access for all on Oxford Bus Company services.

Oxford Bus Company staff had a great time working with RNIB volunteers at the Stop For Me, Speak To Me event in August.
