Cézanne and the Modern
Masterpieces from Cézanne, Van Gogh and Modigliani exhibited for the first time in Europe at the Ashmolean Museum. The vast array of pieces, from the collection of Henry and Rose Pearlman, include exceptional watercolours and oil paintings by Paul Cézanne. Our tip – look out for the gorgeous ‘Mont Sainte-Victoire’ by Cézanne in the second room of the exhibition.

Transport Through Time at Museum of Oxford
We’ve been in the transport business since 1882, so we can’t wait to visit this event on transport and travel through the ages!

Hard Labour at Oxford Castle Unlocked
If you’re looking for something to do with the family this Bank Holiday, why not become a Victorian prisoners for the day at Oxford Castle Unlocked? Afterwards, take a stroll through the Castle Quarter for some great eateries including The Big Bang and The Living Room.

Get there by bus: city3, 5 and 13 will take you straight to Oxford Castle. Most other City Centre services are a short walk away.
The 2014 Oxford Fringe kicks off on the Bank Holiday weekend with a huge collection of live arts from all genres. The programme has been confirmed, with venues like The Old Fire Station, The Jam Factory, The Big Bang and St Aldates Tavern participating.

Monoprint Workshop at The South Oxford Community Centre
As part of Artweek, South Oxford Community Centre will be hosting a workshop in Mono-printing. Materials are provided, so why not get creative this Bank Holiday?
